SYMPTOMS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN FOOD INTOLERANCE: MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
Date: April 20th, 2009
Multiple sclerosis is a degenerative disease affecting the nerves and brain. The cause is not known. Several doctors have tried investigating MS patients for food intolerance or Candida infection. They claim that, by treating for candidiasis, and eliminating suspect foods, the patient’s symptoms can sometimes be greatly alleviated.
Some patients treated in this way have recovered sufficiently to be able to walk again, when previously they had been confined to a wheelchair. However, it is very difficult to know if these improvements have anything to do with the treatment, because MS is characterized by natural periods of remission anyway. As yet, there is no hard evidence that these measures make any difference in MS.
